Excellent points.I agree and do not faithfully rely on those postings, but when looking at the CFS they report, and the CFS from the USGS, more often than not they are in sync. Of course, every once in a while, Canoe KY likes to boost up the levels and CFS more than they like to reduce it since the higher the better for paddling. I think I may have said it on here before, never, but never trust their "fishing reports." This is a creek condition resource only. For instance, today, by the looks of the USGS cfs report, the Elkhorn is humming along at 850+ cfs. Canoe KY reports that this is "a great day for fishing" whereas I would say fishing with that flow would be pretty crappy. Anyhow, nothing beats just jumping in the car and going to see for yourself. Wish I lived closer so I could do that...
