Just curious I am likely fishing it this weekend and never been. Just wanting some general info.
What is the launch fee?
How far can you go in a small jon boat?
What species of bass are in it?
What cover is in it?
Current conditions?
I noticed a fork in the creek on the map on up the creek are both sides good?
I just want to narrow down my lure selection before I go and have some baits tied on that will match the cover. That and know what rods to bring.
Thanks

The fish have all moved north for the summer. There are none left in that pool they have traveled to the licking river.

there is plenty of water to fish
LM..SM
mostly same as other streams...stumps...laydowns..with a few rocky banks threw in.
pretty good shape right now but this rain were are supposed to get next few days might change that.
both creeks are about the same.....fishermans preference.
We have a tourny out of Frymans on Saturday so I hope it doesn't get muddy!
Tourney at Frymans???
Dont you need a small boat for that???
Let me know how you guys do. I fish down there alot this time of year. I hope the rain holds off and you guys can get after them!!
Yeah 14'8" max size. Thanks I'll let you know how it goes...Just watching the weather and it looks like a down pour today!
LM, SM, and redeyes...good crappie fishing, too. I would check on creek conditions before you make the drive this weekend, especially if we get all this rain. Strodes creek (right at the split) usually runs clearer water than stoner after rain.
What size jonboat are you fishing from (outboard or trolling motor?)
Yesterday the bite slowed off as the day cleared...caught 5 keeper-size LM on a shallow crank, baby brushog and a jig.
How many boats are expected Saturday with the Hoppers?
Well if the rain doesn't muddy the creek up I will try to post a report tomorrow.
Not sure at this time if it will be Ikes or Frymans. The creek looks great right now we had .67 inches of rain this afternoon. Won't know till tomorrow what damage has been done. If it is slightly murky here at the plant then I'll know not to go to Frymans as it will be MUDDY.
