I was going to save my other favorite for later, but I can't help myself:

Some interesting tidbits some may not know about President Reagan. He would insist every so often when his work would allow him to get away to head to his Ranch. He was quite the accomplished horseman and loved to ride. He also loved bonfires, campfires and fires in the fireplace at his ranch. He insisted on working himself, things like splitting and stacking wood, clearing brush in fence rows, tending to the livestock including cleaning stalls. When staff tried to take this work from him he told them you don't understand, ''I like doing this work, I enjoy it because it clears my mind and makes me feel good''.

There was a Head Gardener at the White House that was Espanic and had worked there through many administrations, he had seen them come and go. He told later that Ronald Reagan was the first and only President to ALWAYS speak to him when he went by. He would also stand and talk to th man for long periods of time about plants he liked an disliked and how he thought what a good job he did. There was even one time when he changed clothes and helped for a bit on some of the planting's and not for a photo Op either. All this was told after his death by the Gardener that I can't remember his name right now.
Reagan drove Secret Service crazy because of some of things that he wanted to do and people he wanted to stand and talk to.

Here's a thought for you, can you picture Obama busting wood with an Axe or clearing brush from a fencerow, or how about standing and talking to the White House Gardener for an Hour, LOL LOL!

I'll bet you a button off my best shirt you didn't see her break a sweat. My daddy used to say, "You ain't raisin' a garden until all I can see is elbows and butt." Watch for those signs and you will know whether Michelle raised the garden or the gaaardnnner. I'm sure that "Bo" the dog will be happy to help with the watering.

I wish Reagan were still the President.

He's the last one we had that actually seemed "Presidential".

Also, I agreed with his policies a lot more than anyone since.
