    Fayette County Ponds

Anyone know of any good (public) ponds to bass fish in Fayette county / Lexington? Maybe neighborhood ponds or something other than jacobson park? I'm a UK student and will be here for summer with no access to a boat so I need to find some spots to hit a few times. Thanks for any help guys.

    Re: Fayette County Ponds

dmoore, I don't know about lex/fayette county, but just head towards Paris; Stoner Creek has some bank fishing access. I have only caught small LM and very few SM in that area of Stoner. But the numbers are pretty good just to get some action.

Also georgetown area Elkhorn creek has some excellent SM & KY bass action. With plenty of bank access.

    Good Luck!
