Ramp at Jamestown is usable but has some debris on it. No problem to use. Main lake debris varies, some areas totally clear for a high speed run, but be very careful, cause there are pockets of stuff "rafting up", and some sections have chunks of trees big enough they ought to have to have KY Registration numbers assigned. Water is high enough the pontoon made it thru Low Gap with 8 foot of water under me. So I'd guess the lake is 10-12 feet higher than it should be right now. Water clarity is good. I'd say you can see down 6-8 foot at most spots. Shiners for bait. Started at Governors Cove with shiners on boards with no weight, and light weight on the inside toward shore, and 1/2 to 1 ounce weights on outside boards with baits at 30 and 40 feet behind boards. Trolled water from 20 to 50 foot till sundown with a couple board pulldowns and one hookup with a 18 inch small mouth. I hit 6-8 banks on the main lake and 5-6 in Wolfe, never did hear shad up till 2-3 in the morning, and then it was very light. I think I heard 2 Stripers pop the surface all night. Headed in at 5 am. Lake is being drawn hard, I sensed current. East wind, approaching low, near full moon made it a slow night for me.
