Miles Park is still full of trout. I was over there last night catching some bluegill for bait and the trout wouldnt leave my wax worms alone...Also I caught and released around 30 trout on 2 dozen minnows one evening last week.

I fish Miles, Fisherman's, and Tom Wallace pretty often. Hope to see you there, or maybe I already have and don't know it. I love Fisherman's and will be there again sometime next week, but like you said, it gets overgrown FAST. It seems to me those stockers will take just about any bait a trout normally would, and then some. My favorite nowadays is the small Super-Duper lures, but it's getting hard to fish those at Fisherman's with all the grass, so I generally use minnows or corn. And I don't know how many trout I've cleaned that had bellies full of PowerBait.

I'll be at Fisherman's tomorrow morning bright and early, hopefully fishing the south bank of that upper lake (pond is probably a better word). Providing, of course, the Bosnians don't run me off. I don't know if any of them have licenses.. I know for a fact that they almost universally ignore creel limits... And worst of all, they have no sense of fishing etiquette at all. The other day there was nobody but me and the missus fishing that pond, and this guy (for whom English is obviously a second language) shows up, and where does he start fishing? Five feet from my elbow. It's a 4 acre pond, wasn't yet real overgrown (he had plenty of other spots to choose from), yet he's sitting practically in my lap. I actually cussed him out, but I don't think he understood, because all he did was laugh. I was using an 8" light pole, and it was all I could do to not flog him with it.
