Back from Barkley.

Just got back and miss it BAD! Fish north Barkley except 1 day went south on monday to Little River but could put in because the ramp was closed due to high water. So put in at Donaldson and never left the creek. We found every water clarity you could. And i think we fish every water level as well. Dad and I caught 351 bass for the week the bigger bites seemed to be south and the numbers came from the north. You can junk fish and catch fish but we figured out quick that you could leave everything at home and just go flippin' and draggin'. 5' and less, find a ditch etc., They just wouldn't chase much of anything well. Roadbeds, points, lead ins, no go. Of course the flippin bite has INCREDIBLE PRESSURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You don't just share the back of a flat, one takes a number! The tournament boats don't just come in on you but basically climb in the boat with you. The rudeness on this trip is something I'll NEVER GET OVER!!! It was so disappointing, It makes me not want to go back to the north region. And we love that zone. Sunday around 17.5lb sack, Mon. 21 lbs sack. and then the big bites slowed and big number days started. Thanks for everyones help, time to start getting ready for St.Clair season.

know what you mean about the rudeness.was down there for 4 days for the usa bassin classic,don't know which tournaments they were prefishin for but i could have jumped from boat to boat more than a few times.if you were caught catching something it was like fishing a pay lake.we had 4 lines in one big bush at the same time after i got a nice 5+ from it..they hauled toward it just to fish it..

You know what would be funny. Catch a good 5 lber put it in the livewell. Wait till some rude tournament guys move in on ya. let'em move on a little bit. Get the fish back in the water. and start yelling booh-yah pull it out do that a few times and I bet they'd leave
