    Cumberland

Has anyone been to Cumberland the last night or two? Wondering if anyone has caught any stripes or eyes and what the water was like around Conley Bottom. Not been down for or a week now.

Yea went down last night and I wont go back for at least 2 weeks! Worst fishing trip ive ever had. You could find a few places to cast and my buddy did catch one eye but other than that it sucked. Looks like the water has come up 15 feet or so. Put in at Ramsey point. Water was fairly clear. Didnt have a problem puting in but when we decided to leave around 3am the wind had changed direction and blew all the logs into the pocket the ramp was in and we almost didnt make it back in. We had to stop the boat 5 times within 100 yards and raise the engine out of the water to knock all the logs loose. Several shad flippin. Nothing busting. Missed a couple more. If you want my advice, dont waste your time or money.

I suspect Laurel might have a little "extra" water in it as well.

Laurel is in great shape.. They already dropped it back down to below the tree line.

Was at laurel last night and it is back in the trees. The lake is higher than i have ever seen it there and it was hard to fish because of all the trees, of course now we were walleye from the grove area back to holly bay. Everything that i have ever fished was covered by water. Seemed like it got even higher as the night went on as well.
