fished today from 9-3. boated 16 with 5 keepers. actually had a keeper largemouth! very nice (FAT) 16 inch spot and 3 keeper smallmouth (largest 6+). put in midlake. lots of debris from conley to earl wallace. not consolidated but in 3 "fronts" so manageable if you take your time. muddy until earl wallace and then very mild tint of stain only. temps in the 66-68 range and climbing through the day. got onto them very good as we were leaving. going to try again in am if rain is not too bad. unfort having technical difficulties with camera at the current time and photos not avail but will try to get uploaded eventually. lake is high with lots (LOTS) of the vegetation underwater now. i have heard there is a boat race on saturday and there is NO way the lake would be safe for that now. we will have to see what the rain and the corp pulling the lake down will do to the debris but looking quite treacherous (expensive!) currently. 3 largest piles of debris when we left were around the bend from conley, just down from fall creek and approaching earl wallace. not sure what is above conley but i suspect more debris "fronts" from what i saw in the rivers/fishing creek yesterday. good luck!
