Fishing this weekend down at KY lake, plan on fishing southern part of lake. Can anyone tell me about how far a drive from KY dam to 68/80 bridge down the trace is? Or is it better to go by water? And are the fish done spawning and starting to move out yet? Heard some fish being caught on ledges already. Thanks.
It's 14 miles by water from the dam to the 68 bridge. You would be better off to trailer to Kenlake.Fishing this weekend down at KY lake, plan on fishing southern part of lake. Trailer is a better idea. Will be almost 5 1/2 over summer pool by thursday and they are SPILLING. Watch for debris especially if you travel east to Barkley. Might need a chainsaw instead of a trolling motor and 3oz sinker for your C Rig on the main lake.
Will be 364-365 by the weekend and ramps become a problem. Kenlake is a sure bet if you want to fish south. If you are going from the dam its quicker to go through aurora then the trace.
