I'd go north to fishing Creek, cause the Hot Rod punks with the speed boats got a race at the dam this weekend and will be partying all over the bottom half of the lake. That means loud music, loud motors, and loud mouths. Go north young man!

Planning a Friday night trip to Lilly Creek. What's the water color like & how much debris in the creek itself??? Or would you go to Fishing creek instead??? Thanks

Thanks Bob. What's the water like in Fishing Creek??? Going to bass fish, but will give the striper a try too.
Bob, what do you base this statement on? There has never been this type of event on the lake, this will be the first time. I just returned from a Pig Roast/ meet and greet event with the "Hot Rod punks" crew members in their uniforms do'ing photo shoot's for the media etc. Lucas Oil;GEICO etc.
I guess NASCAR and Indy car and the KY Derby etc. are all bad things because they attract people to have fun for a few hours on a weekend. The infield also seem's to get a little more rowdy than the Grandstand but that is understood a head of time.
If I was going fishing this would not bother me in the least because of the time frame involved.
As I type this there is a nice Allison/Merc racing powered bass boat across the street. Turn a hundred of those puppy's loose during fishing times and that's when I run for cover. They do not care about Planer boards, who was on that bank first etc. and the next time some one tell's me it's "OK" I'm in a tournament I'll Ram them.
