Thanks for the report. Thinking I will give it a try Thursday night on the West end of the lake. I'll post a report if I go.

I fished mid lake last night and really don't have any good news. FWIW the water temp was 70 at sunset and about 67 at daybreak. Shad activity was minimal with ZERO topwater shad-bustin action. The shad were there though, a nice layer at 25 ft. I threw the usual striper/walleye lures to no avail other than a single, apparently lost, 20" walleye on a sliver. The debris was still a problem and seems to just be going wherever the wind blows it at the moment. The back 1/3 - 1/2 of the coves where choked with all manner of debris but most of the banks/points are clear. Maybe after a few more days of sun and more stable weather they will turn on. I spoke with one other fisherman about 4 am and he had only caught one eye also. I've had some really good walleye/striper June's so there's still hope.

Thanks for the report Kygun...always appreciate the Cumberland reports. I have yet to fish Cumberland this year...it sounds like I ain't missed much this year but I don't care, I'd go anyway if I could, I'd just as soon be at Cumberland regardless. The end of your report gives hope though....also nice avatar![]()
