Ok folks now you are talking about fishing in my home waters. I fish the green alot and the water is up too high to boat at this time. If I were to camp and put a boat in in the park I would do so at Houchens ferry. If you go down the green about two miles the Nolin River dumps into the Green. Just below that about 3/4 a mile there is a dam that you could go over if you are not careful. The dam is not marked well and is dangerous. You can also go up river from Houchens Ferry about five miles with out much trouble. When going up river stay to the far left of the Islands because of sand bars and shellow water next to the Islands. When the water is at about 10' you could use the 25 hp. boat and motor ok.

The gauge reading that I am telling you about is taken at Brownsville below the dam. Here is a link.

You can also canoe from Munfordville to Houchens Farry and camp along the way but you need to check with the park about a permit if you plan to camp in the park.
