Rough River this weekend

Gonna get to fish this coming weekend at Rough. Probably staying around the Everleigh area where the traffic and crowd will be smaller. Anyone had any luck on Rough lately? Also how is the water level and color? We fish for everything, bass, bluegill, crappie, hybrids, cats and will try crickets, minnows, crawlers, lures etc. It's gonna be great to get the boat out regardless and spend time with the family but we like to catch fish as well.

I fished there last weekend and the lake was up about 8' since then they have been pulling it down day by day. Water color was good, but fishing was a little tough. We caught 8 keeper crappie and 2 bass. All of the crappie came of off old trees down 6' deep on rock banks. Good luck on your trip.
