Barkley this weekend

ok, i have talked my wife into going to barkley for a long anniversary weekend. will i still be able to get her some good topwater bites in the morning and evening around the bushes and flowers in the bays? i have promised her that i do not think it will be to late for this as the spring has been a cool one. any thoughts would be appreciated. i have to get her on a few fish. thanks.

Yes, you should be able to pick up some fish on topwater. Make sure to try a Sammy or Spook on the shallow points as well.

thanks casey. i will be trying that spook for sure. my wife has never caught one bigger than 16 inches so i would love to hook her up with a decent fish. she will throw a popper and buzzbait. thanks buddy!

They bit a spinnerbait pretty good Monday around bushes, but never got a bite on a buzzbait.
