Zoom if I had to pick just one, but why in the heck do you want to do that, big mistake.
I try to manage my plastics by season and day/night. Also I have reduced the amount by only using a few colors. You can fill your boat with 20 different colors. I have narrowed it down to a green pumpkin variation and a dark color. None of the color mix match stuff. Crankbaits are different though. I put a range of baits in a 12x20 container that I will use on that trip and leave the other 100lbs at home. By the way, I didn't see Powerbaits on here.......Good stuff!
I am slowy going to all Charmer's. Every year they add something new to their line of plastics. They are the best I have found. I use them almost exclusively for thier timber pups (baby brush hogs) - and they are my go to bait. I also love the big worms, and now a full size brush hog bait (Timber Dawg). Where is my lizzard Charlie???
However, I think it is impossible to choose one brand for everything. You can't beat NetBaits Paca craws, Zoom's Lizzards, Baby Huey's. ALot of company's make good Shakey worms - but I keep going back to the Reaction Inn. flirts.
I would say you would really be limitting yourself if you stuck with one brand. Almost every company will excell in one particular plastic that the competitors can't seem to better or even duplicate.
All lure companies make at least one GREAT lure.......I would never go just one company, unless they paid me to or one company had everything I'm looking for. Some companies only make jigs, some only plastics, others only spinnerbaits............you get the idea. I use several brands of plastics, just because some companies have better designs, action, scent, and water displacement than others.![]()
I agree I like to have a variety of baits, not just one brand. Every bait has its own time and place to be used. You can't just pick one out and use it all the time even if it is your favorite.
