Fished Rough yesterday and it was tough. Their still dropping the water hard and it has made the fishing very slow. The backs of the creeks produced nothing so we worked out closer to deeper water. Hooked up and landed 3 slots in 10'-15' water on crankbaits. Even though it was cloudy most of the day they wouldnt even look at topwater lures. There might have been more of a bite near the mouths and on the main lake pts but the holiday pleasure boaters refused to show any respect to us fishermen.They swamped us with breaking waves when we got closer the the mouths. Hopefully when the lake gets back to summer pool the bite will pick back up, but since their calling for rain all this week it might be high again next weekend.
