Hey fishhound, how many creeks run into the Ohio around there? I can't name but a couple (Sinking, Yellowbank, Indian and Blue River I think on the In side)but man, I know there are a half dozen or so including the Indiana side. Been down there bass fishing once and would cut my right #%& off to do it again! As a matter of fact, I have been thinking bout fishing the Blue River at the Ohio and up.

Re: man! the ohio river looks good!

Please keep telling people there are no bass in the ohio river. The last two yrs. my fishing buddy and me have had days on the river that produced 30-40 ky bass with the ave. size about 2.5 lbs. with some going 3lb. Sounds too good to be true but it is. We were fishing the heads of islands and rip-rap with small crank baits. If you keep telling them maybe they will stay away.

i have a boat dock 2 minutes from my home on the ohio river (greenup pool). i spend most of my time fishing the river. trust me, plenty of BIG smallies in that river. i have a tourney this weekend. my partner prefished and had a 19 and 18 inch smallie with two more around the 15 mark. and whats crazy, we argue over where to fish because i believe my fishing holes full of largemouths and spots are better! so yeah, the river really *****!
