A judge should not see what color a person is or the background of that person. Rule based on the law. If life history is so important than why did we have such a hard time getting Justis Thomas confimed. I don't want anyone feeling my pain, just rule based on the law.

Geo, guess I'm reading it differently than you. Just revealing things that may bias her descisions. We all have them. As far as the "wise Latina woman" versus "white male", if the male does not have the same life experience as the woman, they will have different conclusions. Sounds to me like she is comparing someone with experience to someone who does not have that experience.
