I went to laurel sunday night. Water temp was around 76 or so and alot of fish were suspended out in deep water. Was able to catch a few largemouth that were up pretty shallow on brushhogs. Smallmouth was pretty hard to locate for me. Monday mourning i did catch a smallmouth early in the mouring on a secondary point. Tough fishing for me but im sure the locals are on fish. They always stay on them pretty good. Talked to 4 other guys loading there boats up and they said they didnt get a bite. So I dont know much to tell ya. It should turn on any day now
my uncle went sunday up around flatwoods and did well. They had several nice large mouth and a walleye 6.5# all on top water.
We went last evening up Line Creek ...until about 10:00 PM (left way early for us) managed several short fish, (mostly largemouth) Wife did manage a decent smallmouth (15" but still short) smallie was suspended over 100 ft of water!
Largemouth were (as stated) shallow near banks.
WOW!a walleye 6.5#
Wonder what part of the lake that was on? Point?
up the river around powerline point
Thanks for the info, was curious if on point or ??? Thanks again!!!!!
