Had to love Moraes, "I was holding my line." Well yeah, if your line was going straight into the wall, I guess you did... Like Marco said, "He just doesn't get it." And when they asked him (Marco) if he had any forewarning, or any way he might have seen it coming, he said, "I guess my warning should have been who I was racing against."
The commentators did make the point that there really wasn't any reason for Marco to be up that high either. It was the first lap, and he wasn't anywhere near up to speed yet. Me, I can't say one way or the other. And I think somebody said, "You're not going to win the race in the first lap, but you can certainly lose it." I guess this was a case in point.
I used to think auto racing was boring, but the coverage has really improved, in large part due to the tech stuff they have going on now. Now, an outsider like myself can actually understand a little bit of the strategy, and appreciate what's going on, whereas before it seemed like you were just watching people turn left for hours.
I thought the coverage was pretty good.........AND I also though there was going to be a fight over that issue........Actually I thought ABC was hoping for it......they really were firing up both drivers.

Two Indy car drivers are going to fight??? Seriously, what will they do, hit each other with their purses LOL!
That was sarcasm from a Nascar fan by the way and is no way meant to be taken seriously.
I like IndyCar and Nascar.......but those junkers are not supposed to run on the "brickyard".
You gotta admit.........an indycar breaking up into 6 billion pieces on impact is much cooler to watch than a nascar car just crumpling........
Wohoo.

LOL Geo, if it weren't for those junkers running each August, Tony George would have already closed the doors! LOL
As for a car breaking into 6 billion pieces, I don't want to see that. Now if Danica Patrick does another Maxim or Sports Illustrated swimsuit spread, I may fall apart!
