Rough River

Just wondering if anyone has fished Rough any this week,,I'll be going down this weekend and haven't been able to find a fishing report.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

Take this for what it's worth, my dad and uncle went down last Saturday morning fished down towards Indian Valley. They were catching them on Black and Blue Pig and Jigs and Black and Blue Jigs with a Blue Sapphire grub with the split tail. Was the only thing they could get them to hit on and they were catching them off the rocks. Dad said they must have caught 12 or so fish and only one under 12 inches. My dad said he got one that weighed about 5 pounds, again take this for what it's worth because the conditions always change. Hope that somewhat helps you out.

Went Monday and Tuesday. Caught 12 -15 bass on secondary points in about 10 feet of water with a pumpkinseed paca craw and a rattle trap. Unfortunately nothing with any size. The largest was 17'. Water was 3 feet above summer pool and they were pulling the lake hard both days.

Good luck buddy hope you catch a few big ones. Ohh yeah a lot of times when I'm there I'll tie on a Rapala Shad Rap and tear them up as well. This is no joke also my dad and I fished a tournament down there last June in which we won, I watched him nail 3-5lbers back to back to back using a baby bass colored zara spook I was tripping out cause I have never seen them hit like that.
