Rough River Lake

I have a small tour. coming up there on Saturday. I was hoping someone could give me a few specifics on the lake. I spent a few days up there last week and it was the first time I had ever seen the lake. I will be heading back this Friday to search some more. Can anyone out there tell me what the hot bait and presentation is on the lake, this time of year? A good area to be fishing would be very helpfull too. Basically, I need a Rough River for Dummies guide on how to catch a solid fish on that lake.

Never fish it for bass but I watch guys while I am crappie fishing and I see them catch a lot of fish. Most of them are cranking on the points.

my buddy dave was there today with his girlfriend and they would of had around 15 lbs. she out fished him,and landed one that was 5.0 pounds i told him he might have a new fishin partner. they where useing trick worms but i dont know where at did not talk to him long.

We fished there sat.caught one that was almost 5lb.one 4lb.and a couple pushing 3 and i can't tell you how many 14" 's,tubes seemed to be the bait for us.Almost all were caught on the main lake points.
