Evansville Fishing

Hey guys..first time here. I live in Evansville and have some extra time on my hands and was wondering where are the best spots to go fishing close to Evansville. I have heard below the Newburgh dam; however, I have never attempted it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Below the dam is good at the right time. Catfish, Stripers, Whipers, Whitebass.

You can also fish Bluegrass. There are a couple of pits on the property that have good bass in them.

there are alot of good spots around here. we have been doing good just about everywhere we have been going lately and catching good fish what ever it maybe ... have been doing alot of catfishing lately before they spawn. which will be really soon cause it looks like their bellys are about to explode. if u ever wanna get out give me a holla and we can hit some spots up for some fishing. ive got boat if need be.
