Update on Patoka

Took my wife last night. Missed all of the rain. Amagine that. Anyway. I just ran a milk run in a couple of areas. No carp, no gills, nothing. Got to the back of the long creek east of Osborne. Found lots of baitfish. More life back there. Missed the only bite on a frog. Just didn't feel the weight to set the hook. I'm kind of rusty on the frog. Water cooled down 5 deg since last week. Might have had something to do with it. Wifey had a good time, though. "Relaxing" she said. I might have her talked into a bigger boat now. LOL!

Had a small club tourny on Patoka and it was rough. 13lbs won and 11 got second. Big fish was 5.75. Was there on wednesday and had well over 20. Bluebird days stink.
