They were out in full force this weekend. As my buddy and I pulled his boat out the garage we had about a 4' snake go between us right into the garage, I was the lookout from the wheel well of the boat!. Saw a few sunning out on cumberland. Also saw more snakes on the main stem of elkhorn than I had seen in a long long time. There were probably a total of 10 or more that we saw just yesturday and some were really rather large. I guess the 100's+ of yakers and canoers that were out there this weekend riled em all up...

I was at Patoka lake and saw a half dozen snakes. Whats up with that? I have seen more snakes and caught more BIG bass this spring than I have in 10 years. The good old days are back. Wish the economy was!!

dont feel like the lone ranger buddie,me and my partner had one that wanted and tryed to get in the boat with us sat during a tourney.it was also bout a 4 to 4 1/2 footer,and was acting crazy,striking at the boat,then swim away for a couple feet then come back at our boat.the funny thing was it was at the bow with me and my partner was still wanting to bail.i could see it if was in in a creek or cove but we was off shore fishin points.at least i got to keep my underwear
