An email from GM I recievd this morning

My GM days are over as long as the gubment has any say or backing of this or any company. I'm sure we will have the Obama Edition Escalade coming soon...all glitz and glamor, sounds great but ain't worth the dubs they are riding on.

You say your GM days are over but I'll tell you what brother...now that G.M. is being referred to as "Government Motors" (which isn't to far from the truth) I'm not sure what manufacturer you're going to turn to. The reason I say this is because my way of thinking goes like this: "Government Motors will make the rules by which all others have to play by." What do you think? Kind of seems to make sense doesn't it? Do you think Ford, Chrysler or any of the others are gonna like the rules? Probably not. More and more as time goes by it sure does seem like the government is doing more and more to get things in it's own favor and in doing so just screws things up...In my own opinion this (Bankruptcy) is just one more step towards communism...I may be way out in left field on all my opinions but this is what's on my mind at 7:30 am, Friday June 5th, 2009.

LOl! Your mind is fine...I believe (as anyone should based upon history) that the gubment will ruin GM or die trying. Ford has a 7 year window to sell the cars they want to sell before the new cafe standards have to be complied with (my understanding) so they should do ok. Never cared for Ford but I like them now. Ford====For Ordinary Redneck Drivers!

I do laugh when I hear "the Chosen one" say he isn't in the car bidness. Uhh yeah right! If they can tax it, control it and profit from it why would they get out? I believe it about as much as I believe he never got on board with the hate spewing from Rev Jermiah Wrights lips!!
