    Question kistler or carrot stix

i hasve a carrot stix on order but it is on back order and they dont know when they are getting in. so i am thinking of changing the order to a kistler magnesium ts. but i want to know if i should just wait or go a head and change the order. and another thing the kistler i want is a 7 foot mh but it is a sinko rod can i also use it for jigs, worms, and other things or will it not work as well. (any help would be great)

    thanks

2nd that on the Cumara ! I had 1 of the 7'2" I think it is spinning rods for over a year in my rod box ,did'nt use it hardly at all . Fishing a shakey head 1 day an fell in love with it . Now I have 2 of them , and I'm a G.Loomis man ,probably have 15 of them, but thinking of trying some of the Cumara casting models as well. I was impressed .

the cumara is out of my price range so. that is why i narrowed it down to those two rods, my price range is $150.00.

I really dont like the way carrot stix feel, ive picked up a few and thats as far im goin with them. Iv never touched a kistler but ive heard lots of good bout them. I think theyre both quality rods tho, if the carrot stix feels good in your hands id get it.

ill put it this way, i have 11 kistler rods, and 1 carrot stick. dont get me wrong the carrot stick is ok. but it is not as sensitive and light as the kistlers. 3 of mine are the magnesium, semi cork handels, the rest are the helium's. i would take the magnesiums even over the heliums because they are sensitive and have a little better backbone to them. hope this helps. heck for that matter, if you decide on the carrot stick i will just sell you mine and get another mag for myself. pm me if your set on the carrot stick.

brlfishing: I agree with you. Kistler are awesome rods. I have around the same amount of them as you, but I perfer the helium or the mags. I can't say anything about the carrot stick, never used one. But, no matter, I'll stick with Kistler: Sensitive, very light weight, good fast tips, and backbone.

yes they do, and rengeade marine also has a great price on them as well. or at least they did last year when they put my jack plate on. i bought two of mine from them. and if you are not close to renegade marine, you can place the order of the one you want at ranger bobs.
