Genmar/Ranger file's chap 11

Saw on bassfan that Genmar the parent co of Ranger/Stratos/Champion has filed for chap 11. So the list goes on.

I have been pondering this for years. How in the world can these guys stay afloat with the prices they charge, gas prices and an overall increase in any petrol products?

I never understood why a Bassboat should cost as much as some houses? Wonder how this will affect the Pro's who are Sponsored by Ranger?

This is just so Genmar can get some credit issues straightened out. They are not losing money, they are sill making a profit. I don't understand how it all works,but I read an online article about it the other day and I will see if I can find it.
