Lake Maxinkuckee

Hi fellas,
I have a small buddy bass tournament this coming weekend. It is on Lake Maxinkuckee. I know very little about this lake and was wondering if any of you have fished it lately and if you want to share any tips! Thanks!

Dont fish the tournament haha!! Natural lake with absolutely nowhere to hide if you have to deal with the wind. Our Big Ten fishing tournament was on it two years ago and we were fighting 3 and 4 foot waves on the lake with 40 mph wind gusts. We were in a 21 foot Skeeter and water was still coming over the front and back at the same time.

I will never fish that place again.

On a brighter note, it supports a good sm and lm population!
