Thanks for the Junior Tournament--Rex

The Ten Year Anniversary of the Junior Tournament in Richmond at Wilgreen Lake was a HUGE success. All the kids walked away with wonderful prizes such as a bait bags along with poles. The fishing, food, and atmosphere was great. What a terrific opportunity for the kids to develop a love for the sport of fishing.

Emily Powell gives a shout out to all for making her five years truly memorable and fun. She caught fish and many trees these past years.

I will second that. It was a great two days for the kids. The Wilgreen gang and everyone involved go above and beyond to give the kids an experience they will not forget. Looking forward to next year.

Yes this tournament is great, I'm a product of its effects and so are many of the the other college fishing guys. It's something great to take your kids to, even if they don't catch a fish they walk away with so much other stuff...

Hey George let me know when you are having your tourney down there this year. I was the guy you talked to with the red outlaw that lost the four pounder back in the creek arm. My brother (forrest) and I will fish it. You should have your daughter fish the tourneys with you. She caught more fish than we did!! I did not get on the pattern until 10ish. The Wilgreen staff every year does a great job with the kids. I would have loved to fished a tourney like that when I was a kid. The weigh in reminded me of a BASS weigh in. A memory of a lifetime!!

I was in the Fisher boat in front of you with the two Jr's when you lost that fish. I know that had to hurt. At least it didn't cost you a paycheck! Hope to see you there next year. Rex said the event will be the first weekend in June 2010.

Yea George when are you going to hold another tourny...me and Richard needs to win some more money...also thanks Rex,even though my youngen didnt have a fish this year he still got plenty of prizes to make him happy,and we still have a couple more years to put fish in the boat
