Rough River

Guys, I live about 35-45 minutes away from Rough, but I never fish it for bass. I always elect to go to Nolin instead of Rough if i am bass fishing. With gas going back up, I am looking at trying Rough again for bass, but I really don't know where to begin.

Can someone give me some tips on where to fish and what to fish to catch some summertime bass on rough?

Word of advice.....don't go on a weekend during the summer. That is the most rediculous lake I've ever seen with pleasure boaters. I think every pontoon in the state of Kentucky goes to rough. Basically everytime I decided to move to a different spot, I had to merge into traffic. Looks like to me the economy is booming.
