that really depends.
A bigger group 6-8 guys usually costs WAY less, because you don't have to invest in a bunch of camping stuff........
If you have gear..........
* Raingear
* REALLY GOOD tent
* Cooking kit
* Stove
* Sleeping bag
* Maybe a canoe.
You can do this trip pretty cheaply..........especially to the Minnesota/BWCA side.
I'd say:
* $60 bucks for licenses permits, etc, etc
* $150 bucks travel cost (based on 6 people going). GAS/Hotel/food up.
* $100 bucks at the outfitter ( tow, showers, bunkhouse)
* $100 bucks for FOOD in the park.
* $120-150 bucks for canoe rental.......
These are the higher end of the spectrum..........My first trip I did for 300 bucks.
Now, you can usually do it for 500 bucks..........but the FUEL costs up are the biggest expense right now.
Later,
Geo
