Watched the news last night and seen where that idiot beat that 9 month old baby against the floor and shook it because it wouldn't quit crying. Young sweet thing died yesterday. OMG I gotta stop watching the news. After seeing the picture of that little innocent doll, she was perfect, I litterally teared up and have not been right since and I don't even know these people or this baby.
What is wrong with this world fellas, how could anybody do this.
My hat is off to Ryan and his fellow police officers for the job they do, I for one couldn't do it. I know it's wrong but I'm not sure that individual would ever make it to Metro corrections.
God Bless that little soul and anyone that really did love it, it just makes me physically sick and has really disturbed me, sorry for the rant and vent guys.

I'm with ya Mark. I didn't see the story (hardly watch the news anymore) but just hearing about it makes me want to hug my little girl. Kids are precious and babies are gifts from God and should be treated as such.

That fella is gonna have a lot to answer to when he meets his maker.

I see some of this everyday with my job, the Child Protection dept is also in my office. It kills me to see these abused children some humans do nit need the right to breed if all they do is abuse the child. I used to work with the Dept of Juvenile Justice in a facility that only delt with teen sex offenders, these so called just children, had raped and sexually molested little children between the ages of a few mths to several years old, we had some that had over 60 victims, 60 innocent childrens lives runied, and this perp wiil not have this on his record after he turns 18. No one will know that this sicko is free right now and does not have to reg as a sex offender as he commeted the crimes as a minor, is that not sick. I hope the guy Mark mentioned above gets his due's, most of the guys that go to prison for killing a child never live long there for some reason. Could be some thugs have a soft spot for kid's,

Like I said before I could not be in Law Enforcement...I have a HUGE soft spot for kids and anything that cannot defend itself from an abusive situation. I would go medieval on their arse.

Happens quite often. My wife is a RN in the ermegency room at Kosairs and has to deal with this quite a bit. Luckily she was off when this little one was brought in.

My girlfriend was Social Worker for a few years, she worked for Child Protective Services and dealt with stuff that would make anyone sick to their stomach. She would have to go into the homes of people that had or were having their childern taking away for various reasons (child abuse, neglect, sexually abused...) and try to reason with these people. Also she would have to goto court and tell what she obserbed/thought of the parents then have to go do home visits after saying you thought they should remove the kids from the home always made me worry about her saftey. She was in a few homes and situations that would have been downright scary for the toughest man here and had to leave or call the police.

She became really close with a lot of the kids and still is today but she finally had to quit because of all the stress and watching parents who didn't really give two rats $#$ about their kids get them giving back to them by the courts for no other reason than they were the biological parents so they could draw a check off of them.


End rant and I'm not one to rant but this really gets under my skin.

I agree with you guys....I to want to publicly thank any man/woman who serves on the police department or is a state trooper or a game warden, etc...I could NOT do their jobs either because my temper would get the best of me...I'd be charged with police brutality or whatever...Heck, how about that scumbag who was following elderly gentleman into the men's room just to beat the living daylights of them and rob them AFTER he knew he was out of range of the security camera?
