Gotta vent

Happens quite often. My wife is a RN in the ermegency room at Kosairs and has to deal with this quite a bit. Luckily she was off when this little one was brought in.

My girlfriend was Social Worker for a few years, she worked for Child Protective Services and dealt with stuff that would make anyone sick to their stomach. She would have to go into the homes of people that had or were having their childern taking away for various reasons (child abuse, neglect, sexually abused...) and try to reason with these people. Also she would have to goto court and tell what she obserbed/thought of the parents then have to go do home visits after saying you thought they should remove the kids from the home always made me worry about her saftey. She was in a few homes and situations that would have been downright scary for the toughest man here and had to leave or call the police.

She became really close with a lot of the kids and still is today but she finally had to quit because of all the stress and watching parents who didn't really give two rats $#$ about their kids get them giving back to them by the courts for no other reason than they were the biological parents so they could draw a check off of them.


End rant and I'm not one to rant but this really gets under my skin.

I agree with you guys....I to want to publicly thank any man/woman who serves on the police department or is a state trooper or a game warden, etc...I could NOT do their jobs either because my temper would get the best of me...I'd be charged with police brutality or whatever...Heck, how about that scumbag who was following elderly gentleman into the men's room just to beat the living daylights of them and rob them AFTER he knew he was out of range of the security camera?

It is pretty rough when you make a scene like that. Just think they sexually abuse the kids more than they physically abuse them. Those are the ones that need to be turned into catfish bait.

AMEN ZX. It was tough to work for DJJ with the sex offenders, as they have more rights than me, the only right a sex offender has is the choice if he wants it in a jar or burned after it is cut off. And any one who abuse's and elderly person, no punishement is strict enough for them. ZX I couldnt do your job, as I know what you go thru every day, I deal with the same trash as you every day, and like Pontoner's girlfriend, I too am stressed out by all of this stuff. Seeing children hurt on purpose by their parents just hits me hard. I cannot have children, due to having the mumps when I was a teen, so to see someone abuse a child like that. Words cant describe the feeling.

This is ALL because we, as a society have became a bunch of CHICKEN ###### whiners.

We EXPECT the system to take care of us.
We EXPECT a cop to be on every corner to PROTECT US.
We EXPECT our company to keep us employed.....even if we ****.

It kills me when I see these liberal fools push their LIBERAL agendas, and then BITCH about how bad stuff is getting.

You know......PUT criminals in JAIL, and throw away the key.....or better yet.....EXECUTE THEM.

If you have a sex offender, a murderer, a kidnapper, a serial rapist, a serial robber......Try them....APPEAL them.......and if still guilty..........EXECUTE THEM. Simple.

You start dealing with crime in a TOUGH manner, the crime goes away.

Remember a hundred years ago, if you took someone's horse, they HUNG YOU........if you took someone's COW.....they HUNG YOU........if you raped someone.......they HUNG YOU. If you committed a property crime........10 years HARD LABOR. If you overspent and were endebted to the system....Debtors PRISON......

Oh if I could make the rules Geo, there would be huge vacancy's in our jails and prisons. I have no mercy what so ever on people that committ hainess (spelling) crimes on innocent people. God may send me to Hell for what I'm about to say but I truelly mean it. This man that did this to this baby, I could shoot right in the temple and so help me it would be no diffrence than me shooting a squirrel from a tree hunting. I honestly don't think I would even bat an eye and I didn't even know this innocent child or it's family. For me when you take another person's life without cause or reason i.e. murder and such you are now nothing more than a rogue animal that should be put to sleep, end of story!

SLO AND SLOOOOOOOOOOOO. He needs to feel all the suffering, quick would not be punishment, it would be a gift. I feel you Mark/Don all. And Geo not all us "liberals" are whimps, I am only liberal to some extent, I do belive in capitol punishment as there is no need to pay for storage of trash you murder/rape/moleste or do any crime that does harm on purpose, like mentioned above, death shoud be the only option. It is stupid for taxpayers to pay for room/board/education/health care for 50 or more years, it costs over 30 grand a year just to house juvies, dont know the exact amt it is for adults, for someone who has showed the world that he has no respect for life, as he took one. But the bleeding hearts say show mercy do not execute this person as they have rights, well in imop, that lost that right when their victim lost their life.
