I don`t know what it`s loike,,,but me and tr186m aka andy are going down tue nite and wed morning to get the evening bite and morning bite,,,going to get my fly rod out and catch me some bluegill to eat...LOL But I`ll catch a bunch of bass too. I have a ball on a white fluke,,,and a pumpkin/char taile zoom u-tail on a charly brewer slider jig....they love it like that,,and never leave sight of my dock...LOL
I was there today but didn't fish, just ran around on a pontoon for the first time. Lake was ok about 3 ft up but was told it dropped from friday by a foot. Was dingy to muddy in several areas but did see some better water around dog creek and Iberia
Fished yesterday,Bass we landed came from deep water.Lake got muddy from the boats running but not bad.If the water wasn't over pool it would have been better.Sen a few fish on the jump should be getting better in the next week or so.Have fun and be safe.Terry Adolph![]()
My good friend, Bassmaster Elite Pro, Rick Morris, stopped by on his way home from his last event in Iowa after previously finishing 5th at KY Lake. We decided to put a couple leisure hours on local waters so that Rick could unwind. I took him to Nolin where he had never been. We started midday on Sunday when all the boat traffic was peaking. I wanted to show Rick our topwater bite, but we immediately realized we were too late for the topwater bite. We decided to do some deep cranking with DD22's on Rick's RPM custom cranking rod. At 12:01 I hooked into a 7 pounder with boats watching. Rick scooped up my Nolin giant as we got an applause from local boats after we both did a mocking Ike scream because... It's a giant! It's a giant!! But this really was a giant, not a 2 pounder.
The water was murky and about 2 foot above summer pool.
The 7 pounder was a post spawn bass caught off a point. If you guys haven't put one of these rods in your hands yet, you will be amazed at the casting distance of his cranking series.
