The guy that threw the marshal out is the one that filed the complaint, right? Talk about sour grapes! Common sense tells you that the fewer boats and spinning props in the area when someone is in the water the better, as long as the person is getting proper assistance. So everyone is suppose to hold up because this guy threw someone? Sounds nuts to me...

Two boats on the scene seems like plenty to me. Slow down, make sure the situation is covered, and move on so as to not make matters worse on a river..

I have to say I think Trip was wrong on this call. I was an observer for Alton Jones in the 1999 Classic and have been around him other times and there is no way he would do anything but help if he thought it was needed. Not sure why either got in trouble when all they could have done was add to the congestion.

I only read the thing once, and I'm not into the the BASS or FLW so I am not up on the names, but I think the guy you are talking about hit the log/stump the day before in a separate situation.
