KDFWR907 lost his K/9 companion in a tragic accident this past weekend. While tied to a dock as he went to do a investigation the dog for some reason jumped from the boat to the dock and caught his leash either on the boat or the dock. When found by a passerby he unsnapped the leash but the dog went underwater. I do not know all the details but this officer patrols out of Camp Earl Wallace here and also on Laurel lake.
