I do like it though because of the small size and is a snap to use.
My camera is a Fuji 550. I purchased it because it does full motion video at 640 x 480 x 32 frames/sec........not the 15 on most cameras.

It takes a TON of space, and the pics it takes are only marginal........but the camera does take pretty good video......at least for a point and shoot model.

    Another plus......it uses AA batteries.

It does shoot good quality video for a point and shoot and I hear you about the AA batteries.

How much video can it hold in that resolution and what's the maximum you can expand the memory up to ?

Sorry if I'm bugging you with all the questions but I'm somewhat of tech geek and can't help myself.

Well, that particular camera is no longer available..........and I can get 30 minutes on a 1gb card...............I have 4 1 gb cards that I take with me, but have not filled them up in a LONG time.

Max resolution is 640 x 480. Max Megapixel depth, which is a USELESS measure btw..........is 12 mp.

It uses a SUPER CCD, and is very DENSE, which is WAY more important than MP.

Most 200 dollar 10 mp cameras are 2 mp cameras with a SHITTY CCD, and they use onboard software interpolation to magically turn a 2 mp CCD image into 10 mp by polling the pixel, and shading pixels around it.

The Fuji camera has a SUPER CCD, capabable of 12 mp images RAW, meaning a 12mp CCD..........

An example of a FANTASTIC SUPER CCD camera is the camera that was sent to MARS on the lunar rovers, or the camera on Hubble......

Those are .8 mp SUPER, SUPER CCD cameras...........Each pixel is tied to an individual "light gathering cell" meaning 800,000 individual, unique pixels.........NO interpolation here..........and those photos are simply STUNNING.

    WOW.
