Herrington Lake No Wake Zone changed?

I launched at Chimney Rock ramp yesterday and noticed that the no wake buoys between Chimney Rock Marina and Sunset Marina were gone. Does this mean that from the up lake no wake buoys at Pandora Marina to the down lake buoys at Sunset Marina is now all a no wake zone? This would be about a mile of no wake zone. Anybody got a clue?

The conservation officer was down at the lake prior to our tournament out of chimney rock this weekend. He wanted us to remind everyone that it is No Wake from Sunset to Pandora now.

Thanks for the info. I'm just a local fisherman that has bought an annual launch pass at Chimney Rock Marina for the past 20+ years. I was there last week and didn't notice the change until yesterday. I don't tournament fish. I just wish the someone would post such changes at the ramps so that anyone who launches in that area of the lake would be advised of the change in the wake zone. I believe that this change will make this heavily used area of Herrington safer.

My partner and I directed a tournament out of Chimney Rock on the 6th and the No Wake buoys were already in effect. Sorry I didn't post.
