Wood Creek Lake this weekend

Heading down there for a first time on the lake to do some leisurely bass fishing with wife. Anyone have any ideas of what would be best-not asking for secret lures or spots, just maybe some guidance as to where we can catch a few and throw them back-as always. Colors of lures or types would be great help as well. I am sure we will throw the whole tackle box after them anyway.

I always heard that at this time of year it's a good night fishing lake. Never fished it myself but the fellars I talked to said it was tough after the spawn.

green pumpkin ans watermelon colors work good for me at night down there. brush hogs are always a good choice to put fish in the boat on that lake. try to focus on the points and find grass, you will find fish
