Does anyone on here fish for catfish in the rivers?

I'm new to this forum,and was wondering if anyone here fished the rivers for BIG catfish? I also fish for bluegill,bass crappie,well about anything! I'm a fishing NUT! There looks to be alot of information on here also. I'm sure I will enjoy this forum/website. Ron

i fish the wabash and embras for cat fish,wabash will be rising by the
week end the bite should get better.fish close to shore around log jams,lay downs
ect.i have really good luck with sonny;s supersticky dip bait,but if your not a stink
bait fan use cut bait,chicken livers and fresh shrimp which you can find in most big
food stores.cut bait could be blue gill or shad.if your after flatheads use nightcrawlers
or small blue gill and or goldfish flats will only hit livebait most of the time,channels and blues will hit about anything at one time or the other.good luck.
