Anybody have a report on nolin, heading there this weekend, hows the bass bite. What time do i need to be off the water before all the madness starts.

I don't have a report yet on nolin but I will also be down there this weekend and all of next weekend. However, I don't think the water will be "as busy" this weekend due to the supposed crackdown on alcohol on the water this weekend, plus its the weekend before a big holiday so alot of people will be saving up for then.

I haven't fished in a couple weeks down there or I would help you out on the fishing report. But last time I fished, the bass really turned on right before dark on topwater.

it will be a little busy with renegades tournament this weekend..last weekend we fished saturday nite and sunday morning by 10 it was getting busy..crackdown or not they will be there.. jet skis were out just after daylite.

we also have a tournament there this weekend....probably only about another 40 boats or so adding to the madness

Renegade is out of Moutardier....around 75 boats.

so we'll be lookin at close to 200 tournament boats plus all the pleasure boaters.....hope nobody gets sea sick on that small of a lake

There is also a Metro United Way / UPS tournament going out of Wax Sunday morning. Should be a real fun time at the ramp

take an extra spool of line,if you fish off shore and leave more than 40ft between you and the bank you will lose some line to the pleasure boaters.had more than one rig lost this year...heck same day..
