I've never tried the Cabelas, but I agree with some of the others on the Trilene 100% fluoro, it's my favorite fluoro. Right now though the Gamma copoly keeps proving itself over and over to me. I was fishing a shaky head on 8lb Gamma yesterday, got it hung in a tree. Couldn't get it loose so I just tried to break it off. The line held and was attached to just the Spot Remover jig head... hook broke before the line. I've never had a break off with this stuff. Of course there was no danger of breaking off any fish yesterday at Nolin, that bite was dead for us and everybody we talked to.

    Re: Vicious Fluorocarbon Line

Vicious products, especially florocarbon seem to be inconsistent. It's priced good but it'd not worth the money at any price.

Another cheap knockoff. Considering the price we pay for rods, reels, boats etc., trying to save a buck on inferior fishing line just doesn't make sense. In fairness their mono seems to be better than the floro but it seems to be very inconsistent with lots of stretch.
