I'd suggest Cave Run. I've always done well there. Granted, I don't specifically go for bucketmouths, but I've caught them there. I'm in Frankfort too and you can be there in about an hour and a half. Plus, the scenery can't be beat.

I have been fishing Taylorsville quit a bit this year. Been thinking of broadening my horizons where would be a new place to go and fish a little for some bucket mouths around the frankfort/central ky area. Thinking of trying cedar creek but I am only off on weekends right now, is it worth the trip?
Let me know of some new places to try thanks

Guist Creek?
I have fished guist creek several time, has a lot of fishing pressure but not near the crowd of T-ville. I am about ready to go back to guist come to think of it. I was thinking of trying somewhere new though.

If Guist Creek turned you off because of fishing pressure, Cedar Creek will make you vomit and quit fishing for the rest of your life.
