Yes, I couldn't be happier about this. What a piece of crap. I just hope he is not sent to a low security "resort" prison. I haven't heard anything about where he will be, but I hope the rest of his life is as miserable as he has made countless others.

It's too bad he won't be exposed to a the hardened criminals who can teach him "the ropes" in a few minutes. He will probably never know what it is like to share a cell with a big ugly brute or eat bologna sandwiches. I'll be waiting for the first picture of him pushing a wet mop or working in the prison laundry. I have a feeling he will be housed at Camp Luxury and have to suffer through massages, golf games, and martini dinners.

Now the gubment needs to cut a deal with him........

One year for EVERY billion you uncover..................

You think he'd bite................BETTER than getting brutalized by bubba on a nightly basis.

    Later,

He got what he deserved...I still can't begin to even realize how much money this man stole...which cost his victims like around 65 billion dollars...that's 65 BILLION DOLLARS folks!!....and then as far as Jackson is concerned, I can't understand how he could have been 400 to 500 million in debt. I just don't see how one individual can run through so much money.

Tyme2fish is getting old and senile and therefor I do not know what a "covered wagon" is. The "covered wagon" I'm familiar with is the one in all the John Wayne western movies.

I prefer to stay in the dark and not know the new meaning.

They use the blanket/cover from the top bunk to "hide" what's going on in the bottom bunk.........

I don't think they should have put him in prison. I think they should have made him a govt contractor, at the rate of 25 cents and hour, and made him spend the rest of his life figuring out ways to get the money back to the people he swindled, plus interest.

What's my beef? Our criminal legal system punishes bad people for the bad they did to good people, but it does not hold the bad person resposnsible for fixing what they did to the good people.

Example, its a whole lot easier to shoot someone and go to jail for 20 years, then it would be to have to work 20 hours a day to pay that man for his suffering, pay all that mans medical bills, pay all the bills that man would have paid had he still been alive to work and earn income, and to pay to put that man's kids thru school.

Okay, put Madeoff in a cell, give him a computer, and tell him he now earns money to pay back the folks he ripped off, or he doesn't eat!
