Hate mail I sent to Evan Bayh

Mr. Bayh,

I say MR, instead of Senator, because you no longer deserve my respect.

The energy policy of the current Administration will destroy our country, and you took the party line and voted for it......Imagine THAT.

AT one time, I respected you for the FANTASTIC job you did locally and regionally for Indiana, but EVER since you arrived in Washington, you've been blinded by the Beltway BULL that blinds practically everyone that arrives on the hill.

You should be ashamed, as the bill you signed will put Hoosiers out of work, raise our taxes, increase our gasoline and fuel oil costs, and continue this HORRIBLE recession.

Please, TAKE a stand for Hoosiers, and grow a spine, and DO something for your home state for once.

I don't CARE about your future, and I suspect your future in the senate is in jeopardy.

If you are unwilling to do something for our state, we will replace you with someone who is.

Way to go Geo, if more people would write letters like that we wouldn't be in the trouble we are in now--which is going to get much worse. I am afraiid my letters are nice compared to yours but I like your style.

Thank you for contacting me regarding the impacts of global climate change. I appreciate your thoughts and concerns on this issue.



I am deeply concerned about the threat posed by global climate change. The scientific consensus on this issue is unequivocal. Global warming is real and greenhouse gas emissions from human activity are causing it. Scientists and others warn that climate change threatens our nation's security, and may imperil future generations' opportunity for safe, healthy, and prosperous lives.



However, any carbon-constraining mechanism must protect Hoosier ratepayers, workers and businesses from increased costs. Additionally, other nations of the world must be included in this effort, because if they are not, our action will be for naught.



Please rest assured, should legislation regarding global climate change be introduced in the 111th Congress, I will keep your views in mind.
