    Trolling motor props

What differences are there between two-blade and three-blade trolling motor props. Which do you prefer?

Funny that you asked because I was needing a new blade and was trying to figure which one to go with and did not know the benefites to the three blade. Hopefully someone will let us both know.

    Re: Trolling motor props

I had a two bladed one until it broke a while back... Went to a three bladed one after I was told at the marine store that the three bladed one was quieter and cuts through grass better. I really can't tell much of a difference to be honest though.

from what i have heard and read a three blad is for going through grass better and a two blad is for more open water.
