Monroe wipers

Hello,
Havent been able to fish for the last 4 yrs because of medical problems,but Ive made a come back. Use to catch many wipers at Monroe and wanted to know what their status is nowadays? Gonna go in a couple of weeks, I know summer is slow ,just want an update after a long abcense from fishing. Thanks!

Have not been to Monroe personally in two years, but the hybrid fishing is supposed to still be top-notch. One of three options seem to be most popular in summer. First is trolling in the lower half of lake. Second, try chasing jumps early and late in day in same areas. Third, scout with graph for schools and jig or cast to them. All three can produce if you spend a little time looking. Good luck.
