You still aren't getting the point. All fisheries that could support a record bass have been manipulated by man. this would mean there is no chance of there ever being a new record if things were run as you see them. Your point is of little or no practical value or meaning.

You can Google, congrats. However, hardly any of this comes close to even proving your reasoning why a bass caught in Japan shouldnt qualify as a world record.

We only have the word of the players and as most of us know the word of drug users isn't exactly trust worthy. So your obvious isn't so obvious.

all of our fisheries in the US have been modified by man in some way shape or form. there is not one body of pristine water left in the US. Even our farm ponds have been polluted with hormones and other chemicals from farming and landscaping industries that could be seen as enhancing the ecosystem. When you enhance that water you enhance everything that lives in it for better or worse.

As said before if you don't like the idea that Japan tied or holds the record then improve our fisheries or improve your angling either way stop trying to improve your excuse.

Please just drop your train wreck of an excuse. It's increasingly more difficult to watch, you are ruining a wonderful thread and making a fool out of American Sport fishermen

I haven't seen anything but YOUR OPINION that backs your argument. It hasn't been admitted into the RECORD BOOKS as far as I can find out.

Maybe you can get your crystal ball out and shine that sucker up because all I have read so far is speculation and opinion. LETS SEE SOME SCIENCE TO BACK YOUR ARGUMENT.

    YOU CAN GOOGLE, CAN'T YOU???????????????????????

This only shows how little you know and understand what you are talking about. There are WAY more PED than Steroids.

Chewing (really you are sucking) coca leaves to help the body metabolize Oxygen more effectively has been around since before documented history.

I guess you won't heed good advice. Not surprising I suppose.

    Re: World record bass caught

I have wasted far too much time in this debate attempting to "prove" my point. I have posted many source materials that cover the gambit from climate to breeding that shows a fish removed from it's native enviroment and introduced into another enviroment that this can give the introduced fish an unfair advantage. This is my point of debate and I think I have proven my case. I will let the other "sensible" members on this board make the final judgement.

What GOOD ADVICE are you implying. So far all I have seen is opinion backed by more opinion with a personal jab occasionally thrown in.

You are trying to imply that the athletes such as the BABE or MAYS may have used illegal substances during their career. Let's see some proof to back this up. I assume you DO HAVE somethig other than your opinion to back your claims (???)

I did a little reserach for you about performance enhancement drugs in the sporting venue:

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...ine/index.html

As you can surely see that IF the BABE or MAYS had used performance enhancement drugs it was not illegal at the time they played.

NOW if you are implying that the BABE "sucked" coca leaves then that would be a different story. Please post your soruce material for such an implication??????????????

Do have have some information that dis-credits this story???????????? I would enjoy reading it, when you post it, of course.

Kinda hard for Mr Perry to defend himself today BUT when his fish was admitted it passed the scrutiny of the time and I guess that is what really matters because this record has stood the test of time for over 70 years.
